High Art competition in progress: Elemental »
High Art is an annual exhibition held at the Attleboro Art Museum showcasing the extraordinary talent and ideas of high school students enrolled in public, private, parochial, alternative, charter or homeschool programs. This youth exhibition connects teens with artists both past and present, fosters the creation of original artworks, and provides a professional forum for students to voice their own creativity and work collaboratively. This year the theme is "Elemental" - our students are creating a large tree that will house the elements - water, air and fire. Each section will embody each element - the water section showing a coral reef, the air section showing clouds and creatures that fly, and the fire section showing flowing lava and flames. The tree that houses all the elements will represent earth itself. More to come!
