Greetings THS 8th Grade Families,
As we approach the exciting beginning of a new academic year, we would like to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming 8th Grade Orientation. We will have two Orientation sessions, one on August 28th, from 5 pm-7 pm for students with last names starting with A through I and a second session on August 29, from 5 pm-7 pm for students with last names starting with J through Z.
We have an exciting year planned, and 8th Grade Orientation will help us to connect with our students and families, prepare everyone for the transition to high school, and ensure that you have all the information for a successful start to the school year. We believe that attending this orientation will greatly benefit your child's academic and social integration.
During orientation, students will tour our building, walk to classes on their schedule, connect with future classmates, and acclimate to Taunton High School. As a part of orientation, students will also be able to pick up their Chromebooks. If you and your 8th grader cannot attend, you can reach out to make alternative arrangements to visit by emailing [email protected].
